Our beloved Merry & Bright contest is back, and this year, with a twist! Businesses are now welcome to enter, and we're holding a vote on both businesses AND residential properties this year.
Enter via our website, and vote for your favorite property in the business AND residential categories -- 3 lucky winners (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place) will receive a discount on their January utility bill.

Entries must be received by Saturday, December 14th, 2024 at 11:59pm CST to participate. Voting will open to the public from December 16th, 2024 at 12pm CST through December 19th, 2024 at 11:59pm CST, and you may vote for your favorite property via our website atwww.franklinnebraska.com.
Only residents, tenants and businesses within City Limits with a valid Franklin, Nebraska address are eligible to participate. Limit 1 (one) entry per residence. Participants agree to have their address and photo shared on Social Media, our website, and in The Franklin County Chronicle newspaper.
Winners will be announced in the December 24th issue of The Franklin County Chronicle.Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Winners will be determined by a vote of the public's top three (3) favorite choices, ranked in order from most votes to least votes.
Winners will receive the following discounts from their January 2025 utility bill with the City of Franklin, NE:
1st Place : $100 off
2nd Place: $50 off
3rd Place: $25 off
Please let us know (by accepting when entering) that you accept the rules of this contest and you understand that a photo of your property and your address will be shared publicly with voters and may also appear publicly in one or more medium(s) and/or publication(s) if you win the contest.
